Role: Design & DesignOps Leader

Rivet Design System. Lessen's end-to-end design system responsible for supporting and accellerating development of their ecosystem of web platforms and mobile apps. The system introduces new components through a Designer-driven workflow and implements them through an internal open source model guided by a small DesignOps team with regular contributions from Engineers on feature development teams.

Rivet leverages an industry standard application workflow including Figma, Zeplin, Chromatic, Storybook, and GitHub—featuring a documented opinionated stance across topics ranging form designing new components, accessibility, copywriting, component architecture, and implementation approaches.
